Brief
To design the signage and wayfinding system for Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery.

Challenges
– Keeping design consistency within the five different buildings.
– Identifying key locations for signage in order to maintain a natural flow of movement throughout the space.
– Ensuring the production of the sign does not affect aspects of the building that are heritage listed.

Visual Outcome
Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery is made up of five different buildings built in different years. We represented these different buildings through layering different materials to make up each sign. A system to convey information hierarchy was also created for both external and internal signage for ease of wayfinding.
